Jeremiah McQuiston is a convicted child molester. In the spring of 2003, Jeremiah McQuiston, was accused of molesting a little girl, age 4. The little girl said that he had touched her vagina repeatedly, inserting his finger inside of her, while he masturbated and ejaculated in front of her. He repeatedly threatened the little girl into silence. During the child’s disclosure she said that the abuse had occurred for as long as she could remember, and she knew it had been happening when she was as young as 3 and that Jeremiah abused her every time she saw him, except one brief visit.
During the summer of 2004, Jeremiah D. McQuiston, then 17, pled guilty to 2 counts of child molestation, and was sentenced to a counseling program. He had to register with the state of Washington as a sex offender. In March, 2009, the state granted his motion to be removed from the registry because he was a minor when he was charged.
Jeremiah never fully confessed to his actions. He confesses to being a Christian, but has never been fully open and honest about the extent of the abuse he perpetrated upon this child. His confession was limited to “remembering, as if in a dream, maybe touching her, once.” The police could have charged him with child rape, but he was charged with only the 2 counts of child molestation as a result of his pleading guilty. In spite of not being fully honest, he was still able to complete his counseling and never had to serve any jail time for his actions.
He was known to be teaching swing dance to minors in December, 2008, in Puyallup, WA.
As recently as Oct 2010 Jeremiah has maintained that he did not commit the crimes he pled guilty to. He has lied about it, denied it, tried to say it happened just once when he was 12 or 13 (when the child would have been a newborn or 1 year old.) However, the truth is that he repeatedly molested a little girl after the age that he could drive a car, and has never, to my knowledge, repented of his behavior. He pled guilty to committing two counts of child molestation committed at the age of 16. Ask yourself if you knew it was wrong to molest and threaten a 4 year old child when you were 16.
Now, he is using the Hebrew name ירמיה . His girlfriend contacted me and preached lots of scriptures about judging someone for their actions. However, it is not my judgment of this man you should consider, but that of the courts of Washington. His past behavior speaks for itself. His girlfriend’s father felt strongly enough to search him out on google, as well as perform a background check and contact me. That has reaffirmed the need for this blog.
